      • The Shox showed a national audience what they can do in an uptempo game. The Shox showed a national audience what they can do with the type of officiating they're likely to see post-season. Both of those were needed.

        • BTW, while I am on board with Fred's alley-oop to Cle as the Delivery of the Game how about Tekele's half-court outlet pass to D-Will (I think) while a Detroit player had a hold of his leg giving him a chiropractic adjustment. That's a strong young man. I think D-Will converted that into a layup also.

Tekele gets an assist and his back felt better.

In addition, I liked Malcomb's 40 foot bounce pass to Demetrick for the lay in.

              • 94 points is impressive, regardless of the opposing teams defense.

I would love to drop 90 on a valley team sometime.

Saturday, March 2, 2013 - it could happen. Unless the referees are given a "point of emphasis" to keep the score down.

Anderson's dunk is at the 0:45 mark of the Saturday's Top Plays video.

so why no Cle alley op on that highlight?
                      seems a little bias

Cle's was very nice in a game highlight sort of way, was glad it got reposted her, but it does not bother me in the least it isn't in a list of the top plays of the day in the country. A reverse oop was top 10 worthy.

                        • Speaking of highlights, I may have missed the discussion about it, but did you catch the Inside the Shokcer Locker Room segment during the ESPN broadcast right before the second half started. I think it is at aout the 1hour, 5 minute mark of the replay.

With Watch ESPN you can stream live sports and ESPN originals, watch the latest game replays and highlights, and access featured ESPN programming online.

If you haven't caught it it is worth a look see. It was video of a portion of 3G's address to his team before the game.

I think this more or less is an accurate quote of the final portion of 3G's comments:

                          #4 - Play Harder

Seniors! Four of you guiys are starting. Give it the example for everyone else. Make sure that these people know when they come into the game the example has been set.

You've got two more times to play in front of the best crowd in the country! TWO more times! This and next Wednesday.

                          OK! Let's make it count.
                          And they did!

                          • Cle's dunk was great but the dunk by the Detroit player was maybe the best dunk I've seen in the last 7 years since I've been a season ticket holder at CKA. Watching on the replay and listening to the crowd was interesting. 10,500 people gasping could clearly be heard on the audio, muted or not.

Don't Bracketbuster games require the away team's conference to provide the refs? So wouldn't we technically have been pulling from a group of refs (Horizon league) that may not also work Valley games?
