FVV needs to take this team over. His BBIQ is already ahead of our 5th year senior PG and our 4 year combo that has started a ton of games. You can tell he still feels a little bit like he's being reined in... not being as aggressive as he could be. I don't know how many times he drove the lane in the first half and kicked the ball out to a teammate who should have been open but they hadn't gotten themselves ready to catch and shoot. I'd like to see him get some shots up from around the FT line off those drives and maybe loosen that zone up a little.

This is the Shockers fiscal cliff of basketball.

This team needs to find their chemistry soon or the Shockers are doomed . It will be too late after the others come back and we would have to win the valley tournament to go anywhere. What a shame. It is concievable that we could be one of the first teams to win it's first 9 only to lose it's second nine and beyond. We can't beat anybody in the valley if we can't beat Charleston Southern at home! GROW A SET AND COME OUT FIGHTING GUYS!!

The athleticism with this group is still very high but some of these guys are lost on the offense. I've seen several times that 2 of the post players went out to set the high screen. I've also seen the post wide open in the lane and the guards jacking up 3's instead of passing it inside.
