Memphis being everyone's Superbowl in the 12th or 15th rated conference in the country? Laughable. Delusions of grandeur on someone's part.

Memphis is streaky. They do not have great coaching. They are as likely to win a game by 10 points against an inferior opponent with poor coaching in the waning moments of the game as they are to lose a game to an inferior opponent with inferior coaching in a post season tourney game. That does not define greatness.

Win the league. Win a conference championship. Go to the big dance. Win some games. Make a sweet sixteen. Maybe an elite 8. Or a final four. Then and only then will you know what it is to be someone's Superbowl. Colby Rogers will never know what it means to be someone's Superbowl. Period.

He'll have 4-5 schools on his career resume by the time he runs out of eligibility. Hope he made enough NIL money and got a good degree. He'll be a resident of a European or Asian country in a year or two.
