I can't vote for some reason, no option for it, so I'll just say I don't see any universe where the Shocks are within 100 of Memphis. Whoops! I mean, 10. Think I'll find something to do so I won't have to watch. Or listen. Not getting good vibes with anything Shocker basketball related right now.

I'm probably only watching this one for therapy reasons, which sounds odd. I gave up TV at home. Subscription TV anyway. I no longer go out to watch ESPN+ games because this team isn't worth that effort and they'd probably drive me to drink much more than I need to. But I still need to push myself to be out amongst people, especially around people and places I'm less familiar with. So I'm trying to figure out where I will go to watch this one and hope it's a place that's simply not too chaotic/packed.

Kind of narrowed it down to two places at the moment. Still not looking forward to this game at all. Surprisingly enough, I'm more excited about the exposure therapy aspect of what I'm planning to do than the actual game.

It's a shame what this program has become.

Also, if we keep it under 20 it'll be a ****ing miracle

As much as I hate Memphis, I’m okay with losing this one. As I said (maybe gonna get hate for this), I’d be okay with us losing out as it’s better for us in the long run. I think. Who tf even knows anymore.

Part of me wants to lose out just to watch it all burn, but more importantly have there be no doubt that Mills is the wrong guy.

But the other part of me never wants to see my team lose, and more importantly doesn't want it to fall to levels from which it will be far more difficult to resurrect.

That said, this game is an L. No doubt about it. Even our better teams have gotten whooped at Memphis.

I’m pretty much there with you, but I can’t explain it — I struggle seeing this team as “my team”. Maybe it’s the NIL, or Mills himself and how he’s done such a poor job gelling this team into anything enjoyable.

This all being said, my favorite win last year was the one that cost Memphis the chance to reach the tourney lol

The Shocks defeated Memphis in the AAC. Conference last Season. That was a sweet win. Before that, the Tigers pulverized us on our own home court. Later, they got hot and barely took us to overtime, and then easily beat us in OT at their barn with plenty of celebrating. We get to play them at least twice of course this Season. A wise gambler would not never bet like this fearless FSF "free of charge" prediction. Stranger things have happened, but are as rare as pulling hens teeth.

I've been watching some AAC games. There's a decent possibility we do lose out unless we play Charlotte again. I haven't seen a team I think the Shox can beat unless there is significant improvement.
