Alot of other Shocker fans including myself knew we would see zone from everyone and we were right. We have been handling the zone alot better each and every tine. I'll go back and watch but I don't think iowa ever played man tonite but I could be wrong. Shox played a good game with several individuals breaking out. If the ones that started the season hot get hot again and join the new ones it is going to be scary good. Everyone have a great Thanksgiving and bless you all.

I hate having to wait a whole week to see us out on the court again.

The guys need and deserve a little break. Hope they enjoy it. Ron Baker in particular looks like he has hit a wall. I think this break will do him some good.

December will give 3G the opportunity to work on a lot of little things that will make us just that much better. Then we should be ready to get after it in the Valley.

There weren't a whole lot of Iowa fans here to begin with. Wichita State played about as well as they could have played, and Iowa failed to match their intensity all game long. The Hawks played pretty poorly (a lot of that had to do with WSU), and they were still in it until the last minute. If Iowa can develop any continuity on the offensive end, they should be alright. Obviously, if WSU plays like they did tonight, there aren't a whole lot of teams in the country they are going to lose to.



Good luck the rest of the year. I certainly won't be rooting for you (Many of your players rubbed me the wrong way. I don't think I've seen that much complaining after foul calls since the Heat in the NBA playoffs last year), but you should have a pretty good year regardless.
