Once the Shockers work Wiggins and Van Vleet into solid rotation minutes.. forget it. Ugly ball will be a thing of the past (although tonight was pretty good).

Iowa has a lot going for them. Don't go trashing your team just because they lost to you know who, Hawkeye fans.

Armstead is so deadly at the PG on defense that this version of Wichita State kind of reminds of Tulsa/Arkansas under Nolan Richardson. Total mayhem, and nightmares, wreaked on the opposition (4 FG's in the second half for Iowa?). 'Might be showing my age.

Iowa is pretty damn good. WSU wasn't great, but we played hard. Cle and EO were outstanding. Wow. This should end the EO crap.

EO showed that he can dominate the paint and has a role on this team. Now for consistency, if he can average 4-5 blocks a game, along with Carl and Cle's blocking ability, we can dominate the paint game after game. Iowa was trying to drive to the hole and they were intimidated.

Actually Cle's game is similar to Kevin Durant. Not that level, obviously, but the same type of player on a relative scale.

I knew he would start making threes eventually. He will be hell to guard for a lot of teams.

If our unit of measurement is number of blocks McDermott has in an average season or MBS (McDermott Blocks per Season), they answer is 3. EO had 2 MBS all by himself.
