Don't worry about looking bad in this game. You played an amazing first half, and so far we've managed to make every good opponent we've faced look worse than they actually are. Hopefully you'll go out an finish in your conference; you have the defense and this game showed me you can shoot. Unfortunately, you just stopped shooting unconscious at the half.

Irrelevant at this point. Good luck the rest of the season unless by some crazy chance we meet again.

There weren't a whole lot of Iowa fans here to begin with. Wichita State played about as well as they could have played, and Iowa failed to match their intensity all game long. The Hawks played pretty poorly (a lot of that had to do with WSU), and they were still in it until the last minute. If Iowa can develop any continuity on the offensive end, they should be alright. Obviously, if WSU plays like they did tonight, there aren't a whole lot of teams in the country they are going to lose to.

Good luck the rest of the year. I certainly won't be rooting for you (Many of your players rubbed me the wrong way. I don't think I've seen that much complaining after foul calls since the Heat in the NBA playoffs last year), but you should have a pretty good year regardless.

I didn't see Iowa quit trying and concede, so why should WSU? It is not like WSU was winning by 20 (though they should have).

Not that I have to make excuses for our players, but they just have a fire and passion that can sometimes come out that way. Honestly, in a game like this that they wanted, I like seeing the fire...no matter the form.
