wow, I am officially worried. I mean HCGM loves the Carolina of the South. I really hope he does not decide to leave. I could see him leaving though.

HCGM is not leaving us, he's here for the long haul. No need to worry.

Really? Did he tell you that? You don't trust anyone now days.

I would doubt that he would leave after this year though. I feel that he probably sticks around 3-4 yrs and then leaves after he turns this thing around. It really depends what he thinks of the midwest though. Coming from the East coast to the midwest can be good or bad depending on the person. I get that "east coast" vibe when I see and hear him talk though.

Forgive my pessimistic nature, but I think he'll go. An SEC gig with a broader recruiting base, if that doesn't happen to be enough, it's right in his backyard. I'll be suprised if he stays.

Let's hope they like Anthony Grant from VCU a little more than HGM.

Everyone thought they knew what kind of guy MT was too right? Money and being close to home and the sunny days in SC speak man.

I have no doubt GM is a great guy with integrity, but this situation is not a 100 percent slam dunk lock that he will stay. He would certainly get paid more money, will be in a BCS conference, larger recruiting base, will be close to his home as well as his wife's, and knows the area very, very well.

Don't think for a minute of the Cocks come callin' that GM won't at least hear them out and entertain the idea of leaving. Heck, catch GM on the right day (such as a WSU 30 point loss), you just never know, depsite what you believe.
