I verified with Taylor, there IS a mitigation clause in HCIB's termination agreement. So any payments he gets from another job offset anything we owe him.

So he can use minimum wage as a sales tool for himself for a couple years. He shouldn't have any problems getting a new job.

I don't know. WSU was getting 8,000 fans on beautiful Fall Days, and WSU was an independent. What was he supposed to do?

I maintain that had WSU been able to hold on to football until the 1996 creation of the huge WAC via expansion, maybe the WAC takes WSU along with Tulsa. They took Tulsa, then disbanded a few years later and Tulsa . . . ends up in the AAC.

And FWIW, the WAC is the only 16-team conference in NCAA history, and it didn't work out.

I imagine the enlarged Big 10 and SEC will work out, but we shall see.
