Damn. Guess this will be the first game missed watching in I can't remember how long.

Not completely surprised. I think the deal with ESPN pretty much forces them to broadcast all home games, but since this isn't technically a home game, not streaming it is a way to try to push more ticket sales.

Originally I was bummed to be missing this game on stream as I will be going to the Purdue-Alabama / TCU-Clemson doubleheader Saturday but the lack of stream took away any regret.

LOL .. just got a ticket change notification .. they must be closing the entire top section off. I got MUCH shittier seats for the same price.

Looking at the ticket options .. there is only a handful at 15 dollars .. the rest for anything that isn't on the end court are 50-75 ... you'd think if you are closing off the top, you would at least lower prices for the rest too ...

EDIT: Called and got mine changed to comparable seats but they made me pay more lol. Cluster of handling of this.

Also, as I was trying to find what seats were available .. woof .. this will likely be the lowest officially attendance game in a LONG time. 1-2k wouldn't surprise me. The entire top is closed.

These sections are all >90% empty as of now:
101, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 118, 119, 120, 121, 124, 126.

122 and 123 are student .. so probably empty

the remaining 10 sections are all 40-60% empty. There are even courtside seats available. Of course except those end court seats in 109/110, all tickets are 50-150 before fees. Most decent ones are 75

That sucks. If they are bringing down those four upper deck side sections, that is something like 1500 seats total at least moving down. At least in my case they moved me from the bottom of 206 to the top of 106, so I will have the same angle, just a bit lower. I was mostly wanting to avoid tons of stairs up or down, thanks to my rickety old knees.

At least with more in the lower deck it will look better on televi... oh, woops.

Maybe now whoever the knucklehead promoter is will realize that the quality of opponent really does matter.

if those sections were full . yes .. i don't think they are .. pretty sure the seats they moved them down to are already accounted for in my numbers above because you can see the tops of 106, 114 are all full.

This year's clusterfark is not going very far in encouraging fans to attend future games at IBA. If the primary reason for having this game is to qualify for hosting NCAA events then price it to draw fans and consider that a cost of doing business.

Section 125 has sold about half of the available. Maybe 75% taken
Section 126 has sold maybe 20% I don't think there's been any change here.
Section 101 hasn't sold a single seat. Sold maybe 10%
Section 102 has sold a little over half. Maybe 80%
Section 103 has sold about 75% (mid court bench side) Not much change if any
Section 104 has sold about half. Maybe in the 75% range

Since we started this thread, there's been very little movement in ticket sales from what I can tell.

This result is 100% due to the lack of a big time opponent. If you jam SDSU in OSU's spot last year the result would have been the same.

Yea but with how many sections are sitting at 90% empty... No reason to still be charging 50-75 for the others
