He has New Mexico, Cincinnati, NC State, and Minnesota above us.
New Mexico went 1-1, and put up a salty 34 in a 21-point blowout loss to SDSU.
Cincy beat DePaul by 5 (big whoop) and Marquette.
NC State lost to a bad Wake team and beat UNC.
Minnesota has lost 4 in a row, including a loss to putrid Northwestern.
I just don't see justification for those 4 teams in front of us. Sure, we haven't exactly had a murderer's row of opponents this week, but we got a road win and beat a decent BU team by 34. I mean I guess NC State's 8 point home win over a mediocre UNC team cancels out their butt fugly loss to Wake Forest? Minnesota is sinking faster than the Titanic. 34 points in a loss and UNM doesn't move down a spot?
Lunardi is pretty ill-informed and weak sometimes. Actually, most of the time.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

I hope we can firmly put Indiana State's at large resume to bed tomorrow.
ISUb losing to the 14th ranked team in the country won't hurt them too badly. I hope that ISUb does get an at-large; just not at WSU's expense.
It's good for the MoVal and good for WSU.

I wouldn't seeing them snipe Creighton in Terre Haute to give us some breathing room.
You're right, it's good for us if they get a bid. Even an at-large play-in appearance by the Sycamores nets WSU an extra $60k+ annually for a few years. I'm not opposed to that as long as none of their quality victories come against us.
Huh? We'd meet in the Sweet 16 in the same bracket.
Not necessarily. The for the first round they place the teams based upon travel of the "protected seed". KU might be in the midwest regional going to KC as the #1 seed. WSU might be in the South regional as the #4 seed and still goto KC for the first round.
