I am an old fart and I agree. Norfolk State players were chirping about call quite a bit. OTOH, I can't say that I have really noticed that very much from this Shocker team. Am I just dreaming or not paying attention? I will have to zone in on that a little more to see if that's the case. If it is you have to believe that is coming from the top down.

The Memphis offensive scheme looks like Penny hired IB as his offensive coordinator.
Final score was Nova 79 - Memphis 63 with Memphis outscoring Nova 47-35 in the second half

Memphis has one of the better, if not the best, non-con schedules in the AAC. They have wins over Missouri, Michigan and Arkansas and they have games with Ole Miss, VCU, Texas A&M, Clemson, Virginia and Vanderbilt yet to play.

They will definitley be battle tested by the time AAC play rolls around.

          • Sure glad we have FAU in the American. Bright spot in what I think is a down year in our conference.

They're up 32 on Virginia Tech.

FAU thumps Virginia Tech 84-50 and moves up from #20 to #12 in the Bart Torvik rankings. Loss to Bryant aside, I'm thinking FAU is who we thought they were.

                • Was able to catch the OU / USC game this past Friday here in San Diego at the Rady Children's Invitational. Was a great venue (albeit small) and tournament. It would be awesome if WSU would play in this tournament some year. This years field was OU / USC / Iowa / Seton Hall. Next year is Ark / BYU / Notre Dame / Purdue. Also, selfishly it is played 15 minutes from my house.

                  • May not be a game of much interest, but the line for KU/Eastern Illinois is a jaw-dropping KU -38.5.

We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

                    • Mizzou @ Pitt on ESPNU now in the 2nd half. Mizzou is a team who plays mostly guards who get 75% of the minutes. 7’5” Vanover doesn’t play much, about 9 minutes a game.

I'm sorry, I just have no interest in that.

I wonder how far k who will fall after NOT covering the spread.
