I don't buy that we can't land high level recruits and transfers. Memphis is having no problem landing them from the AAC and they have done jack **** in the postseason (due to poor coaching). We should be able to recruit at the same level as Memphis.
They have no problem because Fed Ex is finding their NILs

Sure is a damn shame we have no big business in Wichita.

Their interests apparently lie elsewhere and Saul needs to first and foremost build his SASO base back up, which you could argue against, but any way you cut it, soliciting for NILs is a conflict of interest. That is Armchair’s livelihood.

        • Just wish Abmas would hurry up and choose (won't be WSU) so we can all move on. Lol

Just hope there is a big cushion for those that will jump off the ledge when this happens.

Sounds like the administration, NIL partners and coaching staff need to find a way to get those business interests to align so we can recruit at similar level to a team in our same conference. Excuses won't fly (for most.. some will eat up the "woe is me we are doing our best" excuse)

I get that Fed Ex is a big business in Memphis, but is it really in the best interest of shareholders for a public company to use money to lure college players to U. Of Memphis? It might be different if there was actually measurable payback from advertising, publicity or something in that regards, but it seems questionable to me.

Kind of my thoughts as well. How long can this continue? Aren’t they big into PGA golf on a national level?
