So now we know he can jump up and dunk an open basket. I wonder if he can play basketball though.
Only time will tell. About the only known quantities on this team are Craig Porter (pretty good) and maybe Isaiah Poor-Bear Chandler (he is a 5th year walk-on for a reason). And yes I still consider Kenny Pohto mostly an unknown quantity this year. Expectations are for him to take a big step forward but at this point that is still in the category of hope.
I will give the coaches credit for at least hanging on to the 2 redshirts and bringing in 8 newcomers who at least look like they might be able to play. Only time will tell on these guys.
Even if this group of players proves capable it remains to be seen if this coaching staff can mix those ingredients properly to produce a tasty meal.
I have some hope that might happen to some degree but most likely we will end up with McDonalds or Spangles for dinner. But hey, I would love to be surprised with a gourmet meal served with a fine wine.
Nope... I still have hopes that he can improve his game. After all this is the time of the year when we can be allowed to be optimistic, or somewhat optimistic. Depth wise he will help us.
This one reminds me my own thoughts. With the players often mentioning Pierre, he may be a starter. I'm curious too if Abide can make this rotation of 10.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
