Haha, I can't predict what false accusations those attorneys will come up with. Just that, historically, they do come up with crap when they start taking a back seat to the little ol' Division II school, Fairmount College.

Wiskey also has two. #11 Sam Dekker and #5 Frank Kaminsky.

          • We already know Mr. VanVleet but here's a cool little article I found this morning: http://campusinsiders.com/news/get-t...-wichita-state

Interesting quote: "VanVleet isn't your normal player. If you ask him, he'll tell you that by escaping the dangerous environment of Rockford, he is relaxing for the first time in his life. He doesn't have to worry about a bullet screaming through the window or getting ambushed on the way to his car in Wichita, Kan."

            • Another match made in heaven, much like the WSU-Marshall pairing that made FVV's time in Wichita possible.

Nice article about a good young man. Nothing but respect for Mr. VanFleet.

Odd -- you noticed your own sarcasm but missed mine. Oh, well. Mirrors are funny things.

Back to FVV, I noticed that the latest nice article about him perpetuates the misconception that he's 5-11, but he measured 6-0 in shoes at his skills camp, and I have yet to see him playing without shoes. Maybe it's just as well, though: if people think he isn't even six feet tall, they'll get all the more frustrated when he does what he does to them. And some NBA team(s), if that chance arises for him one day, will know all they need to know about his size and his game without panicking over the source of that 72nd inch.

Goshockers.com lists him at 5-11, Baker at 6-3 (what did he measure?) and Morris at 6-7. I imagine Marshall has them all measure barefoot.

                    • I think Baker and VanVleet will go down as the best combo at WSU since Carr and Levingston.

We're getting quite a heritage at PG. Armstead had a year to study and learn from Hannah. VanVleet had a year to learn from Armstead. Henderson gets 2 years to learn from VanVleet. I wouldn't be surprised if Henderson ends up learning some of Hannah's stuff.

Baker gets 3 (hopefully 4) years to learn from VanVleet, which could be huge for Baker in the NBA. A SG converting to PG for the NBA getting lessons from VanVleet is a pretty sweet opportunity.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

I would have Joe Ragland in that mix as well. In fact, Malcolm followed Joe. So it was Hannah, Ragland, Armstead, VanVleet.

                          • Oh, MAN I loved Joe. His senior year was such a blast to watch. How quickly he would go from the perimeter to the bucket was unreal.

By the way, I started the "Ragland" chant at the end of his 31 point outing against UNLV. This makes me a superior, better, more important Shocker fan than most. I even have a Wu tattoo on my shoulder. HERE LET ME LIFT MY SLEEVE TO SHOW YOU WHAT A BIG FAN I AM EVERY SOLITARY CHANCE I GET. PLEASE SOMEONE NOTICE MY FANDOM
