Not completely true. He was in a government liaison role. It’s just that he had been around Wichita and WSU literally his whole life and pretty much knew all of the important people involved with WSU Athletics.

I understand Shocker fans frustration with DB, however I might suggest you put up a billboard encouraging RC4 to come back. Maybe when Taylor says a player is coming for an OV, you put a billboard welcoming the recruit to Shocker Nation. Again I think Muma should be a bigger source of frustration than DB. DB marches to orders from his boss.

The electronic billboard is a great idea for recruits. Why the university doesn’t already do this is crazy. Put it on a billboard on their way to WSU from the airport.

Is there a link to the website to list the 19 members of WSU-ICAA's Athletic Board of Directors? Is there an FOIA request naming them? Who are they?

Initial plan was to keep them as near to campus as we can and get exposure.

I like the above idea from Lamar. We're up to over 3k now in fundraising and can probably get more if needed. I continue to share on Twitter

One thing to keep in mind with the billboards is what's upcoming on the calendar if one is thinking of traffic around WSU:

• Spring semester wraps up on May 5, finals are May 7-12, and commencement on May 14. Looks like Summer school starts on June 6
• Softball's last home game is May 8, baseball's last home game is May 16.
• Cessna stadium will host the Shocker Open track meet on May 6 and the AAC Outdoor Championships on May 13-15.
• Cessna stadium will host the Kansas HS state track all classes meet on May 27-28.

Then there's the Wichita Riverfest from June 3 through June 11, so if billboards are still up around that time, having one near downtown and near Riverfest things may be good.
