Tymber Lee and Tyler Weber, the former WSU baseball players who founded the first Wichita State NIL collective, Armchair Strategies, read Monday’s guidelines and don’t believe it will impact the way the duo goes about its business.

“We have always been focused on helping Wichita State student-athletes first and foremost,” Weber said. “Our goal is to create an avenue for Wichita State student-athletes to make positive contributions to our local communities, while receiving compensation and growing their respective brands.”

This would be good news since if the NCAA does actually crack down on someone for taking NIL too far, it would be a non-blue blood school.

I'm not sure how this will play out for basketball, but I will say that taking care of volleyball and softball, which is mentioned in the article, could help recruiting indirectly as those things will get brought up and talked about during recruiting visits and such. Still hoping it helps KB land a dominant pitcher.

And I've seen reference to a second collective somewhere, may have been FB or Twitter, but I've seen nothing official about it. Does anyone know if there is in fact another NIL up and running, or close to it?

I thought I'd seen something about AC, but wasn't sure if there was something else, as the most recent comment made it sound like one was out there, but that may have been from someone not as informed as they thought they were.

Here is another article about the NCAA and NIL collectives. I don't know if someone posted this already. I don't see the NCAA doing anything. Look what happened to KU and the FBI investigation.
