Covid petered out and now he can't fear mong anymore. Now he makes it back here during the offseason. Hilarious how it has all played out. And sad really.

        • We have to play a longer game… we should be targeting high school players that would have been ranked #75 to #150. Those guys are completely overlooked by the big boys who are sitting on the transfer portal. Get them paid some now and more later as their star power grows with the fan base. WSU would have found the money to keep Fred, Ron, Landry and Cleanthony after year 1. No doubt we would find a way with the next crop.

I agree, much of their endowment is probably restricted, but you are telling me Harvard University is so racist that they can't set aside $100M of their $52 BILLION dollar endowment to give disadvantaged black youths a chance to play basketball while earning a Harvard degree? :)

It really isn't a stretch to believe that they can out raise any university on the planet even if they chose not to earmark a fraction of a percent of their existing endowment toward athletics.

Their men's basketball head coaching position is ALREADY funded by endowment, isn't it?

                • All this revved up passion directed my way is thrilling! But I can't for the life of me nail down its nexus. We really have nothing of consequence to debate at the moment. Just a bunch of ideas being tossed around on how to move forward. Maybe I'm playing the part of virtual antagonist in the current Shocker saga through which many are attempting to achieve catharsis. In that way, I hope I've been of some assistance.

Hopefully though this isn't just a bunch folks from the Covid thread harboring resentment due to all the L's. I did make a post this aft. in the global warming thread signally a potential future intellectual exercise.

I play nice and people cry for the old Cold. I get a little naughty, and fists start balling up. I sense damaged spirits. Maybe I should just take a vacation. This is going to hurt 'Fever more than he knows.

                          • I wonder if the car is essentially like a company vehicle, meaning that it’s his to drive as long as he’s here. Just like the Wheels Club cars that the coaches get.

                              Makes me proud! :’)

Someone mentioned a 99 or 100% chance he won't be coming back, but I'll remain hopeful.
It might take a couple of cars and a Citation.

                                Come home Ricky!
