Nope, no exceptions on the free transfer or everyone will want it. You’re getting paid, you don’t like the school, don’t like the coach, don’t like losing, not playing enough, coach leaves, miss your family, etc,. There’s a million excuses. You get one transfer, so make it a good one. You have to sit out a year, no waivers.

I respect that.

If they are going to put the genie back in the bottle though, they might have to make that concession.

I'd go for one free no sitout transfer. But no other trfr's allowed unless there's a coaching change. That might slow the portal down a bit.

I don't know if this have been mentioned and if so, feel free to link me to it, but I was wondering if there are any changes that were made to the portal transfer rules that were added due to covid and will be dropped at some point? Or is everything that's allowed now going to be there for awhile?
