I think hcib will overhaul.his staff after the season. That can bring in new contrasting ideas to mull over.
I believe this staff pretty much all think alike which is why we see the same things repeated over and over regardless of how often those things have failed.
I hope he can bring in someone who can develope players as well as evaluate and recruit.
I hear 3G is unemployed, he fits that bill.

Rolph was the only one to vote against the interim title. He didnt attend the final vote.

Boatright was DOBO of the Alabama basketball staff while they made a deep run in the NCAA. Muma should force Boatright to fire Keitha and then make Boatright the interim women's basketball coach with no salary adjustment.

Muma can then hire a new qualified AD and potentially save his legacy.

BTW -- I'm not entirely ready to throw Muma out with the bathwater. He was appointed at a tough time and had to make a lot of big decisions very quickly (that frankly were more important than athletics). That a few of his decisions were turds wouldn't be surprising and could be forgivable, if he got the bulk of them right. But he has time to fix past mistakes now, so he better.

Let's hope and pray for bold leadership from him.

Muma needs to go on public record and address this stealth extension/raise. Needs to explain his stealth decision. It's so eerily similar to IB's contract - he wasn't going anywhere so why lock him up for too many years at a way higher rate than the market will pay him?

A good friend and mentor of mine is very good friends with Jon. I knew Jon through him. Down to earth, very approachable. I went through a period in my life when I was spending a lot of time at his neighbor's house and Jon always waved when he saw me pull up outside his house and would stop talk if he could. I was just a head case college student, but Jon is the type that looks for value in anyone he comes across and had no problem taking time to talk to me or any of my friends.

I did not realize Jon was on the BOR. That is fantastic for WSU and is the only good thing about WSU’s situation right now.

Boatright getting a 37% raise is enough to have an investigation. Him getting a 37% raise right in the middle of a time when the athletic department is struggling to stay afloat and asking people to take unpaid leave is enough to fire every person in the decision making process for that .

But seriously. He has to have blackmailed someone. It's the only thing that makes sense.
