Conference USA schools currently receive less than $1 million annually in television revenue. The amount they will receive is still being finalized, but the television revenue will be more than $2 million at the start of the deal and rise significantly from there. Incumbent AAC members are still expected to average about $7 million annually over the course of the current ESPN television deal, which runs through 2031-32.
In other news: it appears the MWC has said they aren't expanding now. That's bad news for our basketball.
Maybe we need to get this football thing started ASAP. If we were playing FBS we wouldn't be crying so loudly.

Big East is so unlikely and if we were lucky enough to get a MW invite, it’ll be the same situation once Boise and SDSU are poached. What the heck are we going to do?
Travel to Omaha, Chicago, Milwaukee, Cincy and Indianapolis are easy destinations. Wichita State makes great sense. Plus, the conference has already said they are looking to expand, if the leadership at WSU hasn't already inquired, they aren't doing thier jobThere are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Memphis did a lot of damage as a CUSA member. If we can stay together with them in the AAC, we may be okay....
If they somehow get a parachute, we are so fkd it's not even imaginable.
The positive side is the fact that we are in a conference with some serious academic institutions. Makes the Big Pee look like the little liberal arts colleges they are. Podunk.
Football time for WSU.

Something about playing with those schools still makes me nauseous though. It was the same kind of feeling I had about the Little Wookie (McDermott). Nothing about him or the Priest schools excited me. Unathletic with a lot of 3 balls getting jacked up.
I'm sure I'll spin it to the positive if we manage to get in. I was just so happy in the AAC. I would have picked that every time over the Pee the way it was when we joined. I just love Cincy and Memphis. Always have. Compared to a conference full of Creighton clones...?
