Could someone explain to me why the conference doesn't just do a full round robin schedule? I would rather play USF and Temple twice than play any more buy games like Alcorn State and Tarleton State.

The goal is teams fill those 2 extra games with games other than Alcorn State and Tarelton State. Our OOC is very polar this year. Handful of really good games and a handful of bad ones. It's good to have some tune up games.
JSU 156 (Q3)
South Alabama 203 (Q4)
Tarleton State 253 (Q4)
Arizona 32 (Q1)
Michigan 3 (Q1) / UNLV 189 (Q3)
Missouri 46 (Q1)
OSU 28 (Q1)
KSU 176 (Q4)
Norfolk St 183 (Q4)
Alcorn 329 (Q4)
North Texas 55 (Q2)
PV AM 197 (Q4)
Really HAVE to win that Arizona game so we can hopefully get Michigan on the schedule.
Missouri and OSU will both be rebuilding a bit from last year .. so they are unlikely to be as good as last year. I don't know if North Texas will be good again or not. Not a lot of upside with this schedule and the home schedule is god awful.

Really have to hope we don't have any players out (injuries, illness, COVID etc) for the two weeks starting Nov 19th. Out entire non-con basically rides on those 2 weeks away from home.
North Texas is coming off their best season ever but they lost their 3 best players. They're in somewhat of a rebuild/reload mode this year, could go either way.
