What chance do you give for the Ramblers to play the Shockers on any of these dates? I have predicted the Shockers will be playing in the Sweet 16 (March 24-25) but have to admit I do not think the Ramblers will be their opponent on any of the dates you have listed.

                        • Oklahoma State: NCAA decision to deny appeal, uphold Cowboys postseason ban 'unprecedented,' system 'broken' - ESPN
Oklahoma State, which had been given a postseason ban in 2020 but played under appeal, is now banned from the 2022 postseason, a decision by the NCAA that coach Mike Boynton said he was "disgusted" about.

By Jeff Borzello, ESPN Staff Writer
                          11/03/21, 9:41 AM CT

"The NCAA has rejected Oklahoma State's appeal and banned the Cowboys from the 2022 men's basketball postseason on Wednesday, in a decision the school called "unprecedented in the history of the NCAA."

Oklahoma State said it's believed to be the first time a school has received a postseason ban despite no violations in the areas of institutional control, failure to monitor, recruiting, head coach accountability, participation of an ineligible athlete or academic fraud...."

                          • They got to play in the tourney last year with their generational talent, Cade Cunningham. Someone call the cry baby hotline.

Considering the issue happened in 2016 .... I do think its a little crappy to announce its valid for this year 1 week before season starts. All the punishment lands on kids that were in Middle School/High School when this happened.

Make it valid for next year ... or the year after. Give every kid on the team a blanket transfer waiver. Let OSU try to recruit for a year or two knowing they can't make the tourney.

That might actually harm the school vs harming the kids.

Maybe, but isn’t that the same argument from last year? At some point it has to take effect.
