Defense better bet 100x better on Saturday or the hot shooting will be needed. If the shox come out and play solid defense and let the offense come to them as they did for much of the first half against UNI, Creighton will be saying goodbye to their top 25 ranking and the MVC Championship. WSU has an offense that can score anywhere anytime, but when they bring the defense along with it they can play with anyone in the country.

Creighton lost 3 in a row last year early in the season.

11/28 - Creighton 52, Northwestern 65
12/1 - BYU 77, Creighton 65
12/5 - Creighton 54, Nebraska 59

I know I'm way early, but I am so psyched up for Saturday. CU has their back against the wall and will giving it 100% but if the Shocks come out like they did tonight, they will win. I haven't looked forward to a game like this in I don't know when. Should be an epic game.

We should all be psyched for this game. The team has to focus on one game at a time, but we fans know if we end up at the end of the week with a two game lead with three to play it's pretty much all over.

After reading Doug Gottlieb's (whom I do like) analysis of the Shox's at large possibilities, he mentions the that the Shox are on the bubble. A win against Creighton pretty much secures our at-large hopes despite what might take place at Arch Madness and a loss at Davidson. However, if we lose at Creighton and at Davidson, what happens to the Shox then? Will the MVC automatic invite at Arch Mandess be our only ticket to the NCAA's?

I say this assuming we will win against SMS, Drake and ISU Red.

After deciphering this website for a while, you can see that both teams are extremely similar and it will indeed be a war of a game. Creighton's offense appears to be slightly more efficient than ours, but our defense is slightly more effecient than theirs. This is gonna be a GOOD one. I hope it repriclates the Duke game last night. (The away team wins on a buzzer beater :D )
