Booyah! With the exception of the last 4 minutes of the 1st half the Shocks played about as well as I think they can play.

Really, every guy played well tonight. Just a damn impressive win.

This game reminded me a lot of our NIT start vs. Nebraska last year. We came out on a mission and took it to them. We did have a little lapse there at the first half but if you would have told me before the game we would have been up by 8 at the half I would have taken it in a heartbeat. Lets hope we're starting a tear like we did last March and finish out this conference strong! Now these next 2 home games better sell out. This team deserves it!

NIU has been really fluky on the road. They are a basketball team that looks like Thursday Night Delight one game and like world beaters the next.

We better be ready and expect NIU to try and do what they did last year - play above their heads in a big time environment. They relish playing here compared to the 4,000 fans that show up in Frostbite Falls on a nightly basis.


We need to pound this team.

Remember the start of last year when Joe struggled so much with his 3 point shooting. If I had to rely on one player to hit a three in any game, at any time, it would be Joe.

Loved that David had a good game. He sounded so relaxed and happy after the game. We need a relaxed and happy DK.

Props to Garrett. After all recent hoopla, many a player would have gone shot hunting. He played within the offense and fed the hot shooters. One for the team.

Outside of 4 minutes, a dominating performance that will catch a lot of eyes.

Addition, I meant to say earlier. Toure's blitzkrieg of jumpers in the second half was timely and very important. Kids a winner.

Wichita State is so steady. UNI blanked CU last week. I'd rank WSU #1 in the country.

After tonight, I like our chances vs. Duke in the second round. In fact, Duke would like our chances in the second round.

That was just an all out fun game. I also like how all of us students started chanting "We want Creighton! *clap clap clap-clap-clap*" The chemistry was great all around.

Before the game I thought this one would be a close. Was I ever wrong, what a performance by the Shox. Offense, defense, you name it the Shockers did it to perfection. Great to see DK have a confidence building game before our biggest game so far this season on Saturday. Go Shockers!

I think the Shocks are finally realizing just how good they can be. I've never seen the level of confidence they have now in this team and the chemistry is the best I've seen.
