The Shocks face a HUGE game on Wednesday night against the UNI PANTHERS.

UNI already has 3 wins over top 50 rpi teams. Including a road win at Ames, Iowa. They are coming off a HUGE upset of CU. They will be pumped!

I am predicting our team will be pumped too. Stutz gets another double-double. Carl Hall is in full beastly mode. D. Kyles and Big Ben make some threes! TM plays tenacious defense and some big plays. D. Williams and Rags run the team to perfection. And Jake White, EO and T. Cotton get some valuable playing time.

Garrett may very well put up another double-double but if he does I think the point total will be in the 10-15 point range. I expect UNI to double him hard whenever he is on the floor and try to force someone else to step up and beat them.

Would be a good time for David to break out of his slump. Might want to run an alley-oop or two for David to try and bust him loose.

Will 3G be willing to show some zone to UNI to see how they react to it? He went to that late in the game in Cedar Falls and I think it was a key to our come back win there. They have struggled against zone defenses at times this year.

I'm sure UNI views this game as an opportunity to get solidly back into the at-large discussion. This will be a tough game. Shocks need to bring the A game.

I agree. The two bad losses to Bradley and UE took UNI off the radar screens. But if they beat us they will have 4 top 50 wins and a top 50 rpi. That will be too hard for the pundits to ignore.

UNI has a LOT TO GAIN by beating us. They will be pumped and ready. We need to be too.

I for one am very excited to have another home game with huge ramifications. There is no excuse to not have a fired up crowd with tons of energy. This game looked pretty big a couple of weeks ago, but now it is enormous. We have to hold serve at home to make Satursday's game truly epic. Really fun time of year. I hope the guys are enjoying it. I know I am.

I will say this also. Whatever the line, I would likely bet on UNI. I expect it to be in the 6 to 9 point range.

This will definitely be a nail biter if both teams come to play, which I'm sure they will. However, Garrett will get 20 again, or very close and one of our guards will go off for an additional 15 - 20 points.
