My player of the game is the team. You could tell from the first few minutes there was no way the Shockers were going to lose. As a team they were so ready. UNI is a good team and like all good teams they would make a run, but the game was NEVER in doubt from the get go. There's a look in this teams eyes I REALLY like.

Okay--it had to just be me. We get called for charging at the end of the first half twice at least, but yet on the other side of the floor, we get bull-dozed over at least twice and that is blocking? These calls were rally killers and NIU made some nice 3's to take full advantage of the mysterious help. Maybe it was my rose colored glasses steaming over from frustation on all of that nonsense??? Absolutely fantastic basketball displayed tonight. It was so nice burying that team into the ground after they just got done beating Creighton. Others stepped up when they collapsed on Garrett. BIG night for DK and Joe. Ben too.

Trying not to get too high on the Shox, but what the hell. If I can't enjoy a solid win, what's the point of being a fan. Before tonight, I was hesitant to say that we are a top 25 team, but I believe that we are now. I like our chances of going into Omaha and taking one to the Blue Jays. I don't think our confidence can be any higher at this point. Coach will have us prepared. I know that he will. If he can keep them focused like he did for most of the night tonight with that game on the horizon, he can do it again. The team knows what's at stake, we have veterans who have been spurned in the past and I think, right now, we can smell what's ahead and maybe, just maybe, we can start to peer over that hump.

What a great win tonight for you guys. I tell you what I am a Cleveland State fan and I have been following you guys ever since we played in bracket busters a few years ago. I remember last year when both of us were in the NIT and we bowed out in the 2nd round I was hoping you guys would win that NIT and you did. I really felt last year you guys deserved to be in the big dance but just like Cleveland State you were left out. (And who could forget how you got robbed vs VCU in the bracketbusters last year). This year I have been following your team very closely all season and I really think you can make at least the sweet 16 and if the bracket falls right you could make the elite 8 or even the final 4. I just hope you don't end up in Kentucky or Ohio State's bracket because those are my favorite 2 BCS schools if you end up in any other bracket than Kentucky's I think you can make a final 4 run.

Love your team congrats on tonight's win and good luck vs Creighton for 1st place on Saturday! CSU has our own 1st place game tomorrow night vs Valpo.

Tonight they looked like and played like the team that won the NIT last year. They know what they can do when they get to the dance. I don't see them letting up. As long as Joe doesn't make boneheaded plays (per HCGM), we can be damn near unstoppable...
