Okay--it had to just be me. We get called for charging at the end of the first half twice at least, but yet on the other side of the floor, we get bull-dozed over at least twice and that is blocking? These calls were rally killers and NIU made some nice 3's to take full advantage of the mysterious help. Maybe it was my rose colored glasses steaming over from frustation on all of that nonsense??? Or was it just me?

I also liked the fact that there were very few free throws for either team.

That was IMPRESSIVE. UNI is a good team and the Shox looked as good as I've ever seen them look. I hope they keep that edge.

Don't usually go over to other boards, but the UNI fans were complaining about the refs and a couple of them were talking about the fact that at least they didn't live in Wichita. It's almost comical reading stuff like that from those guys.

Trying not to get too high on the Shox, but what the hell. If I can't enjoy a solid win, what's the point of being a fan. Before tonight, I was hesitant to say that we are a top 25 team, but I believe that we are now. I like our chances of going into Omaha and taking one to the Blue Jays. I don't think our confidence can be any higher at this point. Coach will have us prepared. I know that he will. If he can keep them focused like he did for most of the night tonight with that game on the horizon, he can do it again. The team knows what's at stake, we have veterans who have been spurned in the past and I think, right now, we can smell what's ahead and maybe, just maybe, we can start to peer over that hump.

Nice observations. Now is the time for contenders for the Dance to begin to shine and peak. Sometimes, how a team can finish strong makes the difference on who makes the Dance Cut and who does not. We are looking tough and NIU was not able to run their offense several times and stall on us because we played some D. We took wide open 3's and made more than our fair share, but yet worked from the inside and then out.

Remember the start of last year when Joe struggled so much with his 3 point shooting. If I had to rely on one player to hit a three in any game, at any time, it would be Joe.

Loved that David had a good game. He sounded so relaxed and happy after the game. We need a relaxed and happy DK.

Props to Garrett. After all recent hoopla, many a player would have gone shot hunting. He played within the offense and fed the hot shooters. One for the team.

Outside of 4 minutes, a dominating performance that will catch a lot of eyes.

Wow, what a game. When these guys play to their potential they truly look capable of beating any team I have seen this year.

I was only half watching on my computer while finishing work, but one of the mvc announcers noted that (and I am paraphrasing) our consistent execution of our gameplan through feast and famine was the mark of a "championship caliber" team.

It feels so good to beat the **** out of those guys. It was so refreshing to not see our guys play down to their ugly style of game.

We went out, seized the opportunity, and capitalized. That is the way we need to continue starting games, and continue that play.

Thank you for showing up tonight: Joe, DK, Ben, and TM. UNI was going to make you beat them, and you did just that.
