Yes, these games lately have been fierce, and so far, so good on us remaining somewhat healthy. I still wonder if Kyles would have not been injured the Season NIU was on fire, if we might have beat them at the Lou. We battled nicely until about 11 minutes was left in that game and we wore out as they had the big run. Stutz needs football pads and a saddle for mules on his back while on offense because it seems okay to knock him silly and to the floor often while hacking him and riding on his shoulders. Then on defense, he just can't be breathing on our foes or be slightly touching folk, even if he has established position, because THAT is not allowed by a seven footer in Valley play? Right? Or is it just FSF's rose-colored specticales which could deem a feller to be helplessly clueless in the realm of black, yellow, and gray?? Yikes!!!!!!!

Actually, I tried my hand at being a ref. Both teams were spittin mad at me as well as they should have been. A player did not want to give me the rock after I called a foul on him and after I insisted, he did a quick hard 2 handed chest pass, from point blank range and hit me in my belly full of jelly. OFFICIALS TIME OUT BABY!!! After I got wind back in my airpipes, another player got his collar bone broke from a collision. Then on the last play of the game, with a tie score, there was still another huge collision in which I called charging. Game was decided by my whistle and FSF was high stepping it to the next County to also resist the "Kung Wu Tiger Claw Style" of an angry mobs disgust. My conclusion was "too much work, not enough bread, and not enough or even one thin dime of glory baby." Thus, I shant forever attempt to ref another game, but still like to throw by 2 cents in.

Uh dude. Reffing at the biddy basketball level like that is brutal. Step up to U-10 or something next go around!

I say sit him regardless of how the first half goes, even if he wants to play. Put serious pressure on EO and Hall and White to step up and support Stutz and let him get some rest.

Sullentrop also stated that Stutz is not practicing.

                    This is concerning.

I'd like to see us err on the side of caution and give him a rest.

I agree. The rest of the guys will just have to step up and take care of business. I'm not particulary surprised by this news based on the discomfort Garrett seemed to be in on the bench at the end of the UNI game. Hopefully, it is something that can be treated with medications and the appropriate amount of rest and we will get Garrett back in action as soon as reasonably possible.

Agreed, the rest of the team needs to step up and help him get right for the stretch... Maybe do a Ragland strategy, have him ready if needed but sit him for at least the SIU game.

I, too, think the other guys need to step up here. But Stutz needs to be in uniform just in case. We can't afford another home loss to SIU.

Yes, although his condition at game time and the advice of the medical professionals will probably dictate whether or not Garrett is in uniform. I sure hope we at least see him in uniform tomorrow.

I hope we donn't see him ion uniform Saturday. These things can be nagging and extended. If it's bothering him and he plays at anything under 100%, then he's likely to extend the durtion of the problem.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
