Does Jans still have ties to Wichita?

I believe the best answer to that is probably "Unfortunately, yes he does."

I don't think Ron's playing days are over. He can prob still make decent money oversees.

He tweeted a video chat that he did recently with some KC guys. He was asked about his future and admitted that “I’ve had 3 surgeries in the last 4 years, so playing more basketball probably isn’t in my future.” He mentioned looking at some business opportunities or maybe other leadership type roles. I’d think that if he wanted to pursue coaching, it’d be there for him.

Having been on Shockernet for many years I absolutely believe that there are people who think they know better than the coach.

There are some. But for the most part, when Shockernetters did call into the show they had relevant and informative questions.

Yes, I do listen and have for years. It was a great improvement to the show when they got rid of the call ins because they brought very little to the table. It’s a better format to submit a question to Mike via Twitter or email and let him pick and choose.

The bad call-in's was because they didn't properly screen the calls. I agree, Mike tried to do the best he could with the questions via twitter. The problem with the questions to Mike is he wouldn't ask Marshall anything that might set him off (u know the timeout questions).

We just have a difference of opinion. I apologize for antagonizing you over your desire to reinstate call ins for the coaches show.

Actually, it is not a big deal to me, I thought I was just being funny as I mocked Marshall and his anger issues and how he forced Mike to take the callers off the show.

I saw a tweet with the top 10 free agents for TBT teams and he was listed number 10. He then replied that he would be willing to coach the 9 above him. Not sure how serious that was.

we did get wedge. So there is precedent for getting this right.

So on sports daily they basically said that didn’t know where all these “rumors” of candidates was coming from because they were being led to believe that the current staff would lead the program for his season and in the spring the coaching would be settled.
