Toronto fans are the same with Fred… they were spewing a lot of hate during the season. Guess it comes with the territory. NBA fans are a different breed."You Just Want to Slap The #### Outta Some People"

The TBT talk was if injuries would force him out of the NBA.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan
RIP Guy Always A Shocker
Carpenter Place - A blessing to many young girls/women
ICT S.O.S - Great local cause fighting against human trafficking
Wartick Insurance Agency - Saved me money with more coverage.
Save Shocker Sports - A rallying cry

I was the one who first mentioned Landry playing TBT. I am not an NBA guy, so I will defer to some of you who worry about his limited skillset in NBA terms. If for whatever reason there is not an NBA spot for Landry in the relatively-near future (say 3-5 years from now), he is still young enough to make a damn good living playing in one of the top leagues overseas...and it is also my understanding that NBA connection is what keeps certain guys from playing TBT.
That's not saying anything negative about Landry. For the AfterShocks to ever win it all, they'll need to keep assembling the best possible non-NBA talent available. If that involves Landry in a few years, I would enjoy watching him play at 21st and Hillside again.
Same with Tyson Etienne.78-65

The criticisms of Landry were/are fair. He is not a very good defender in the NBA. And yeah, if he's not hitting threes (his specialty), it's really tough to keep him out there.
He played well offensively last night. Defensively, I thought he was meh. He got beat back door probably three times by Murray...maybe that was because there was supposed to be weakside help, but regardless, the assessment of him as a below average defender is correct."In God we trust, all others must bring data." - W. LS will be playing in the NBA for many years to come so you can put those TBT wet dreams away. Not sure why everyone isn't celebrating LS on the big stage."In God we trust, all others must bring data." - W. Edwards Deming

Your zeal is slightly misguided. Did someone on this board express displeasure with seeing a WSU alum in the NBA? We expect that kind of a leap from sub but not from the more reasonable posters on this forum.
