I still think it had more to do with us than them. 14 blocks!!! They weren't, and aren't, that good.

I've watched Bama play several times this year. They always play good, physical man defense and hold teams in the 50's-60's. They're not a great shooting team but they transition well on offense. They are similar to us. When we played them, we weren't as good on the post as we are now and we didn't get the ball to GS like we do now.

Looks like its going to take an upset in Omaha to get our shockers in the top 25. To be honest, the big reason why I want to see a number next to wsu's logo is for an actual preview for each game on my espn app.

Thanks, it says rankings updated 2/12/2012 at 7:00am EST so i took that as they've put out their new rankings but i guess by updated they mean just scores and records for those teams.

I read Parrish this morning and I felt like he was dissing Creighton more than he was acknowledging WSU. In fact, I don't think he acknowledged the Shocks at all when discussing the game yesterday.

10. Wichita State Shockers

This is the best mid-major team in the country. All of the mid-major proponents talk about road games, and the Shockers are better on the road than at home. Wichita State does not really force turnovers, but it limits you to one shot takes care of the ball. Joe Ragland, the lefty JC transfer, played his best game at Creighton. His development has been key for Gregg Marshall.

Like I said in another thread, it was a double edge sword for Wichita State.

We win by 21 and instead of getting love, we get tossed a side for the fact that Creighton is struggling.

It didn't matter that we whipped them in Omaha, because they had lost 2 in a row. It didn't matter that we whipped UNLV because we were at home. When we win 2 games in the tourney, it won't matter because we had more seniors than the teams we played. It won't matter next year when we win 3 games, because we have an experienced Coach.
