                          I'd be surprised if it does. He wanted to go to UConn for Ollie. He's from Cali ... he doesn't have local ties or anything.

                              Financially speaking, it's a huge improvement for the program. See Gary Parrish's columns for more info, but for example, they get an $800,000 bonus as a program from the Memphis Grizzlies if they average over 6,000 fans a game. This is the first year they missed that mark.

                            meeeeh, I'd say one definite improvement, and one gigantic question mark. I expect UCONN to be competing for conference titles in 2-3 years, and competing for Championships shortly thereafter. Great get for that program.
