True story. Heard a few years ago that there was some discussion about Theus coming here as an assistant. Might have been around 2011 or so. Never ultimately got serious but apparently 3G and Theus had a discussion.
Given MSU's overall financial problems, can they even afford to pay him more than he makes as an assistant at LSU?
Edit: Quick internet search says Heiar makes $300,000 at LSU, and Lusk was making $370,000. MSU athletic department is broke and have to buy out Lusk. If they can land Heiar, I'd be amazed.

What are are you even talking about?? I read the ESPN insider article "Whom should Pitt Panthers hire to be their next coach?"
That article listed 16 possible coach's for the job and GM is not one of them. He is never mentioned in the article.
Kevin Ollie is................FIRED! Hope uconn gets a good coach! Bring that team back to what it was.
If you listen to Dickie V it isn’t possible for UCONN to return to national prominence. That is until they get out of the crappy American Conference. Weak.

That's odd. WSU got INTO national prominence while in the crappy Missouri Valley Conference.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades. We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

The duke apologists on Espn Game day said Uconn doesn’t fit in the conference geographically. I think geography went out the window with sCUm in the big easy and West Virginia in the 12-2
Georgia will not accept a bid, if offered, to play in the NIT after firing coach Mark Fox. A source close to the discussions told ESPN's Jeff Goodman that Thad Matta is scheduled to meet with school officials Monday.
