But sometimes I wonder why the backboard isn’t used more frequently, if not a majority of the time. I’d be curious to see the difference in accuracy from 15’ out between bank shots and your standard, run of the mill jumper or FT. If the backboard provides a better likelihood to put the ball through the hoop, screw the craft. Might as well just do what’s most likely to put points on the board.
