"We’re unveiling something new today: Coach of the Year power rankings. I know I missed some guys who are deserving of spots on this list, but these are 25 guys (in order) who are doing some of the best coaching jobs in the country.

We’ll update this again during the season, then hand out the hardware at the end of the year for the National Coach of the Year....

12) Gregg Marshall, Wichita State – After a down year by Shockers standards a season ago, Marshall has Wichita State back. The Shockers are 15-1 with the lone setback coming against West Virginia...."

Lots of games to still shake out, but I think Coach Marshall will be moving up on the list before it is all done.

What the hell is wrong with some of these posters on SN. Freaking GM has done a whole lot better than those other coaches. And they want to throw him under the bus. They also forgot that he coached a nobody by the name of Fred Vanvleet into the top PG for the NBA with a championship ring. Wake up ppl. Once he realizes that some fans are stupid and get tired of their whining little asses he might just say f that. Or he gets a hell of a good offer from a P5 school. Or just retires.. Some ppl in here will be cheering and happy and then when things aren't going well they are going to bring the torches again, like the song goes "Don't know what you got, til its gone".

I see two things with some of these posters. One, they're simply KU or Creighton Trolls. Two, their Gen Z'ers and/or young Millennials who are accustomed to having a victim mentality and can't relate to GM who doesn't offer safe spaces and raises his voice instead of using a soothing, ASMR type tone when giving constructive criticism.
