That's probably more appropriate - maybe top 10. Like the weekly rankings, there is always a gap between Collegiate Baseball and Baseball America and I tend to side with BA's judgment.

Recruiting Class

Didn't Todd Butler say something about Collegiate America's ranking of his recruiting class being ranked #2 in that it was based mainly on the junior college players in the class?

Yes, it all depends on how you choose to measure -- what criteria you use, what weights to give them (like the Collegiate Baseball point system), how many guys the class contains (a lot!), etc.

Personally, I tend to favor Baseball America as well, but it's still significant that just looking at Collegiate Baseball alone this is higher than WSU's class has ever been ranked. So comparing CB apples to CB apples, it's really good. And even when you add in the comparison of BA's oranges, it's still pretty impressive.

Nice job by Butler and Co. Now it's time to coach 'em up.
