Bryant's head coach was the head coach of LeMoyne in 2004 when they played in the Fayetteville regional with Missouri and Wichita State.

I am finding conflicting information about Bryant. The official Manhattan regional site says the best finish in school history was a 2004 CWS appearance, but an article in the Omaha paper says they're a first time qualifier.

Also, since this is the selection show thread, the same Omaha article says that Towson, a .500 team and one previously slated for termination, is a 3-seed in the Chapel Hill regional. This is just one piece of evidence that the committee only knows how to pick the Top 8 seeds, arguably, and the remaining 56 are just blindly assigned.
