The Shockers are hitless through 3 innings and have not had anything even close to a base hit let alone scoring any runs. The SDSU pitcher certainly doesn't look like anything special but the Shockers are making him look special so far.

We have a tendency to make average pitchers look like Cy Young.

You can tell Steve Strain is not used to calling games from a high press box. He descrived Caserilla getting hit in the shoulder with the pitch. The ball hit him in the thigh about 6 inche above his knee.

Thanks to the hit by pitch and a throwing error by the SDSU shortstop the Shockers have tied it up at 1-1.

The Shocks finally hit a ball hard when Andrew Stewart line a single to right but nothing came of that. Willaims getting thrown out at 2nd on the throwing error may have cost the Shocks a 2nd run.

Yesterday, I think the weather was somewhat of a factor. Not so much today IMO.

We’re also letting him completely dictate the tempo. Slow the game down a little bit.
