Hoping the Shox can rattle off a couple of sweeps this weekend and next against some subpar teams to move to 12-7. Already up to 44 in the RPI, they've recovered nicely from the horrid start. Let's keep it movin

I don't think it was "horrid".

Three of the six losses were against a top 25/50ish team at their place. Another top-50ish team at their place, and then another top-30ish team effectively at their place.

Now Texas A&M - Corpus Christi is one we might have won, but again effectively at their place.

Frustrating, yes, but "horrid" is harsh.

I agree that they weren't necessarily bad losses - but it set a bad tone to start the year for sure, and with some pretty high expectations for this team winning at least 1-2 would've been much better. But you're right, horrid is probably a little harsh.

Our SOS is still gonna give us an at large chance. Just gonna have to sweep the subpar teams and steal a few high quality games. Our record isn’t gonna have to be too gaudy with a SOS so good.
