Well we gave 3 Houston home losses to them last weekend, which contributed to their bad RPI. Houston has more highly rated players than we do.

Paxton Wallace up with 1 out and Loaded bases just had an awful at bat. He was obviously looking to hit a Salami. He had three really bad cuts, at least five of the pitches were balls. Talk about free swinging. Pitcher got out of a bases loaded inning with no outs, and no runs. Gibson popped out, Wallace struck out with a really bad at bat and Kocis flew out to CF.

Great start to the series. A convincing 10-2 thumping.

Might be more difficult to get runs tonight.

Very nice Shocks. Good pitching (another quality start from Preston Snavely), finally got the run production in gear and no errors.

Hope the Shocks can keep it up.

10-2 final. Onto the night cap. We should have a bone to pick with Gasser.

    No.

Houston gets 2 back in the top of the 6th.

Shox have something going in the bottom of the frame.

Singles by Bartlett and VanVooren now have the bases loaded with 1 out. Deese coming out.

5-0 now after a Kocis single drives in Gibson and Wallace. Time to get into that Cougar pen.

Big inning brewing in the bottom of the 5th. Three runs across, 1 out, runners on 2nd and 3rd.

Changing things up a bit with the rotation this weekend. Preston is getting the ball this afternoon, with what appears to be his personal catcher, Cooper Harris (mostly kidding, I'm sure they don't want Ross catching both end of DHs, like last weekend).

Expecting Liam tonight, Jace tomorrow and Spencer Sunday I suspect.

    Sigrist
    Gibson
    Wallace
    Kocis
    Bartlett
    VanVooren
    Stroh
    Harris
    Stewart

    Go Shocks!
