Just speculation but Friday and Saturday, were split media crews with baseball and Volleyball. Volleyball was on ESPN + and Baseball on radio (KNSS). KU contract took up KFH on Saturday.

I guess that makes sense. It's just when I heard this ESPN + deal come out, I was told most every olympic sport was gonna be streamed. That was the point of it. I guess your resources can only stretch so far, especially since volleyball is happening now. Figured baseball would bump volleyball though. Also missed a pretty big series with Oklahoma State.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Big 2-out, 2-run triple by Paxton Wallace in the bottom of the 4th to offset the 2-runs Snavely gifted to SIU-E in the top of the inning.
Quick 5th inning with each team down in order. Same in the 6th although the SIU-E made a diving back handed catch of a low liner to rob Cade Clemons of a double.
Creighton Hansen takes over on the mound for the Shocks in the 7th in his Shocker debut. Good work by Steumpfig. Can we trust a guy named Creighton? Hansen 2nd pitch is singled to left. A triple to right center makes it 7-4. A single to right makes it 7-5. Ross Cadena cut down a runner attempting to steal 2nd to end the SIU-E at bat. I will not be using Hansen frist name from here on. Hansen's ERA after his Shocker debut is 18.0.
