We are in big trouble now. Bases loaded for UConn and no outs.
Peters got a infield pop up to set up a possible inning ending double play. Unfortunately, he got a double without to play that scores 2 for UConn to tie the game. After going 2-0 on the next batter Peters is out and Miller Pliemann is in.
Shocker in year 6 just does not have the pitching depth to be a championship team.
You’re just now realizing this?
There are a LOT of things that are not of a championship caliber with these teams and that has been demonstrated over and over through the last half decade.
A couple of fluke wins this week doesn’t change anything. Please try not to get fooled and look at the big picture.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

@KungWu now that bat breaking in two is something you don't see much in college baseball with the composite bats. In fact, I don't think I have ever seen that.
Walk, single, error 3B and there are runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs. At least now if Stumpy can't throw a strike, which has been the pattern, it sets up a force play at the plate.
Edit: Called it!
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades. We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.
My guess is that was a semi-intentional walk. Keep the ball outside the zone and let him chase if wants to. I think it was a good move. Gives the Shocks the best chance to escape. Will see if it works out.
