They pinch-hit for him with the bases loaded and a tie game with one out. Darn, I wanted to see what he could do in a pressure situation. It seems that when they bring in a lefty, they usually hit for him. Oh well, another solid day for Andy.

The Tigers are playing the White Sox on WGN right now. I missed the Tiger's top of the first. ESPN's GAmeCast shows that Dirks popped up in his first at bat.

He seemed out of sorts last night. Not his greatest game, hopefully he bounces back. He needs to continue to make an impact to stay on the roster.
