I won't defend Doug Compton or Morningstar. Lawrence as an entire town is the most corrupt town I've ever been in.....it REEKS of it.

I won't claim to be a title IX expert as I do not have a law degree, M.Ed and lack long-term experience with the issue (though I am currently working in the higher education industry and writing a FAQ Title IX document as we speak), but finding entire organizations or teams as not in compliance with Title IX is difficult. In addition, the backlog of institutional Title IX investigations at the DOE and DOJ is rather steep and likely years away from being investigated.

I won't say he continues those ties today, because I don't know one way or the other, but he's a filthy dirty, cash driven felon who without question has dodged the IRS with his illegal bookmaking practices and ties to the mafia.

Last thing I will say is, I am glad Jackson will be a one and done because the stories I have heard from around Lawrence (in addition to the news stories) have not been very complimentary at all. His behavior at the bars has also been extremely questionable.

Had not heard about the mafia ties however that does not surprise me. Him and Thomas Fritzel run that town.

I have some real estate interests in Lawrence and Doug Compton and Thomas Fritzel have a stranglehold on the zoning, what is historical, lots, etc.
