MSU was never going to CUSA and won't anytime in the near future. UNI wasn't lucky to beat KU or UNLV. Some of the things you say just smell stupid.

The whole CUSA thing appears to have been started by a single tweet from a basketball commit. He tweeted, "I'm going to be playing in Conference USA".

The ignorance of the recruit not knowing the conference affiliation of MSU, and the ignorance of MSU fans for thinking a basketball recruit somehow had inside info that he leaked, are both rather remarkable.

If you have to dig things up that I said over 4 years ago on a completely different forum then I don't know, that seems a bit much. I've said on that forum, this forum, and several other forums that I was misinformed with the CUSA stuff. I haven't hid from the fact that I was wrong. I'm a fan, I got excited and connected dots that weren't there. If I had a chance to do it over again I would have held off until there were more facts. In fairness a lot of people have looked silly in the realignment game. But I put the cart before the horse and I regret it. I don't really understand why that is still relevant today but whatever.

The CUSA move was delusional. Watching a poster expand and expound on a delusion is amusing - particularly in the off season. The move to FBS is also seen as equally delusional. (The difference between a 0% chance and a 0.0001% chance is negligible).

Once again, we are amused by observing the delusion and the defense of that delusion. CUSA is only brought up as evidence of ongoing delusional posts and a reminder of how we have been similarly amused by the same poster over a period of years.

No, Casey, it's not just the C-USA stuff, the C-USA stuff is just the easiest example and most fun. It is the unrealistic image MSU fans have of their program, and just how far from reality that image deviates from real life. In one of the posts I copied, you can see it. Where a Bear fan thinks MSU and Illinois State are the big dogs in this league! Not Wichita State, not Northern Iowa, and, dare I say it on Shockernet, not, at the time, Creighton. The big dogs are Missouri State and Illinois State! ROFLMAO!

Here is reality, Casey, Missouri State has one of the smaller athletic budgets in the league. Missouri State has next to zero football history or success. Missouri State wins at very little. Missouri State has a small endowment. Missouri State is closer to D-2 than FBS.

If moved up to the Sun Belt, Missouri State would have the second smallest football stadium in that league- and there are plans to expand the other. Missouri State would have the third smallest stadium in all of FBS. Yes, you guys are that small!

At the end of the day, what you think of yourself doesn't match that of what others think. Your self perception and reality are skewed. If only you could see yourself from others eyes. Lastly, you don't dress for the job you have, you dress for the job you want. If Missouri State wants in FBS, they need to show it now, improving a run down FCS stadium to a nicer FCS stadium doesn't do it. Show me a 30,000 seat stadium and a FBS athletic budget and I'll quit mocking. Until then, you guys aren't Sun Belt material.
