But I'll tell you what, MSU's punter deserves his own personal massage therapist.
On the other hand it sounds like MSU is well on their way to setting total yardage records for punting yardage and kickoff return yardage.

Actually, and this is true, their punter did set that record.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

MSU's season MVP is their punter!

That's why C-USA and the Sun Belt want the Bears, kickers are the face of football.

          • Some interesting MSU stats

            MSU:
            Total offense - 2,394 yards
            Punting yards - 3,539 yards

            MSU Opponents:
            total offense - 5,437 yards
            Punting yards - 1,608 uards

I'm no authority on football stats, but I don't think total yards on punts should be greater than total yards on offense.

            MS
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Slow down there cowboy. I said their _punter_ will be their (true) MVP. "Kickers" implies they had some offense.

Haha. I actually only made it to Chadron State game this year. I was in town over the weekend but had to choose between the Lady Bears opener and the UNI game. I opted to go with the former. The football program deserves the ridicule. They were flat awful this year and while I expected them to really stink, they were more odious than I could have imagined.

I think he really underestimated the MVFC and that was his undoing. I believe he will recruit the type of athletes to turn the corner but it is going to take a long time. Going hard after FBS transfers and JUCOs would be my approach but they seem to favor slower and smaller four year guys. Really need to overhaul the assistants. They were a very green staff and it showed. Still love the HC though. At least we have women's hoops and baseball. So we got that going for us. Which is nice.

                • Well, maybe the Bears need some work to get up to speed with the Sun Belt in football, but after the basketball game they played today, their cages are Sun Belt ready now!

                  • Missouri State giving North Dakota State all they can handle.

A close game in Fargo, Bison lead 41-0 at the half.

They have the right guy to mount the comeback!

Just for perspective, getting beat 55-0 in football is kinda like getting beat like 100-0 in basketball. Both are infinitely bad and defy the laws of math to quantify into any useful ratio for comparison. Yet somehow 100-0 in a basketball sense helps me understand exactly where Missouri State is at in reality

Maybe it's time for me to give it a rest. They didn't win one sinning football game this year. We'll, they count beating a bad D-2 team as a win, but nobody else does. They even got shut out their last three games I think!

I think we've found a team that the Kansas Jayhawks can beat!

Time to move on... Until the next time they think they are moving up. I give it nine months.

Seem like the Bears are the ones being mounted.
