It took us a day or two just to stop laughing at the prospect.

We're making fun of you, and enjoying the process. Apologies you are too dense to perceive this. We're kicking you around amongst ourselves like a worn out soccer ball in the elementary school playground.

Actually, sometimes we just decide to count the ways in which MSU is irrelevant - and that can take days because there are just so many ways in which MSU is irrelevant.

It can be one of the more interesting and entertaining things to do in between reading media articles about our multiple AA players, our top-10 pre-season ranking, and our being a legitimate contender for a F4.

I guess MSu fans have nothing to do in between posting on opponent's message boards.

You don't see me posting on BearTalk now, do you.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

This is like hitting a slow-pitch softball with a tennis racket. It's just too easy.

Just like Football is irrelevant! (when you don't have it) You would be ignored on Bear Nation.

Here's the thing, since you are logic-challenged. And I'll make sure not to use acronyms so you won't be confused. Missouri State is in the Missouri Valley Conference. It just so happens that Wichita State is in that same conference. That makes one relevant to the other by definition. It's not like you're Montana State, except perhaps when it comes to athletics revenue and success.

What we are discussing, using facts that escape you, is whether Missouri State is relevant nationally, or even regionally, in various sports. You were thoroughly beat down, so you resort to playing the "pushed your buttons" card as you leave our home court with your tail between your legs. However, the buttons you thought you were pushing weren't connected to anything, much like a Fisher Price toy recommended for ages 6-9 months. We did have fun playing with you, though. Come back anytime. And based on your picture in the quoted post, you're not a bad looking chick.

Would the proper adjective be "ignored" though? A quick look at your forum shows that between your football and basketball subforums there have been a grand total of 11 threads with activity so far this month. Just because a post by Aargh would takes days or weeks before being seen by the next wanderer through your ghost town doesn't really mean he's been "ignored."

Golly, I really hate to pile on here, but that carrot you put out in front of me is too great to avoid, Royal:

Missouri State Athletic Revenues - $15.1M in total, of which $2.7M is derived from football

Montana State Athletic Revenues - $18.8M in total, of which $7.4M is derived from football

Tell me you meant to do that, because otherwise I will have to consider it some kind of divine intervention.

Division I-AA football is irrelevant. Sun Belt Conference football is irrelevant. Missouri State basketball is irrelevant. Missouri State football is irrelevant.

You have 5 active posters on your board, 1 of which spends a lot of their time hovering on Shockernet. You do the math.

On second thought, I don't think you can do the math so never mind.

At first glance, I thought that you said "you do the meth".

That would have been good too.

Fixed it for you (didn't abbreviate so MSU fans could figure it out).

It is even more lame when you drill down to football program numbers: D2 Pitt State sits at $1.9M, and future FBS power MSU sits at $2.7M. As I posted earlier in this thread, the only FBS schools with lower average attendance than FCS MSU are Akron and Ball State. Those schools still spend $6M-$7M on their football programs. From a financial perspective, MSU has far more in common with the top schools in D2, than they do the worst schools in FBS.
I know that MSU fans feel that all their concerns over attendance and success will be cured by going FBS. Well, they might want to think twice. Akron, mention above in @SHOCKvalue:'s post replaced an old 1940s stadium with a new 30,000 seat facility, filled with club seating, loge seating, and suites, that opened in September 2009. Six years later, their average attendance for 2014 was 9,170. See below their new stadium shown during better attendance days. Click pic.

                            Akron1.jpg

Also, the big building in the upper right is their indoor football/track and other sports facility. I don't know. Does MSU have an indoor football practice facility? Click pic below.

                            Akron2.jpg

This would be the level of MSU's competition just to try and stay out of the bottom of the FBS.

I noticed that you didn't answer my question about if you ever darkened the door of a WSU classroom. I guess I know the answer.

Sadly, Swomo's BEST football season can't hold a candle, and is completely irrelevant compared to WSU's WORST football season.

When you're getting all time punked by a defunct program, it might be time to quit.
