Guys I feel bad. This is so one-sided that I almost feel like we should just stop. I don't want to be a mean person. This is one of those "why don't you pick on someone your own size" moments. Right now, we are the jerk who is picking on a kid who ran his mouth too much. What that kid really needs is a mentor. MoSt fans really need us to come alongside them and educate them on what good basketball looks like...or even a good overall athletic program for that matter. Fortunately, we have been doing that lately on the basketball court. I feel better already. And we are not so different, after all. Like us, they currently don't have a football team, but they do have a stadium. We are able to show them how to handle oneself properly when you don't have a football team. :)

I went back to MSU's second-last winning season. Another 6-5 performance in 2004. MSU has had 2 winning (6-5) seasons in 11 years. I've already mentioned the win over Missouri S & T for in one of the winning seasons.

One of the wins in the 2004 season was a 31-28 squeaker over Drake. Drake is non-scholarship. Their non-scholarship records go back at least to 1998. Another W in that 2004 season was a 45-0 thrashing of Union College, which plays DIII NCAA football. Isn't DIII a non-scholarship division of the NCAA?
