America is forgiving, Jans will have to come clean with the public, quit drinking and start from scratch again. He still has an unbelievable skill set that will make him an asset to some program in the future. Where, who knows?

Very unfortunate indeed. Chris has a long, tough road ahead of him. Clearly he has some demons that need to be exorcised. You don't throw away a lucrative career with that kind of behavior unless you simply don't have the ability or self control to make the right choice.
He may well get a 2nd chance down the line assuming he can find a gig to start rebuilding from. Perhaps in the Juco ranks although that remains to be seen.
Job #1 for Chris at this point is to try to repair, if possible, any damage he may have done to his immediate family.
I hope he can recover from this.

Not excusing Cj's drinking and subsequent behavior, but the do-gooders in this story seem to inject themselves into the situation. Typically, when people do this they tend to stretch the truth.
Chris and others with public positions need to understand that acting like a crude 16 year old will always end badly. I figure this situation was just the first that got pushed to an administration, but not unusual.
